In this particular scene, based on a true story, a young boy claimed that he was picked up and carried 40 feet by a giant raptor. For Episode #xx of the cult favorite MonsterQuest for the History Channel, we needed to recreate this scene with a minor. I had to not only work with the producers about the technical aspects of this, but I also spent a good deal of time with the child and his parents, easing their minds, communicating the beats of the scene, how the boy would be connected to the apparatus that actually lifted him off the ground and more.
