Beth Pacunas, IC

I am an independent creative professional, veteran of purpose-driven media, community advocate, and entrepreneur.

I draw on my life experiences as much as my film and television career to inform and broaden my work as an intimacy coordinator. I am well-traveled, have been on the wrong side of an M16, walked alongside the rich and powerful, and held out my hand to the despondent.

I am here to help.

Who I Am

Those who have worked with me describe me as: collaborative, generous, a good listener, engaged, compassionate, perceptive, and decisive yet flexible. I understand the core intent of a subject or project, am empathetic to both subject matter and people, exhibit grace under pressure, and am good in emergencies.

I have found my place in this industry and am at ease working with department heads, external teams, unions, and especially people who are under tremendous stress and deadlines. My experience also leaves space for me to assist in navigating the complexity and nuances of cultural differences, individual vulnerability, boundaries, open communication, set protocols, creative license, time-based work, and risk management.

My Experience

The depth and breadth of my experience includes television series, documentary filmmaking, advertising, branded content, independent film, concert promotion, community action through art and media, youth mentoring, and small business development.

In my multi-disciplinary career, I hold a reputation for my ability to find relatable humanity in every situation, and am often called upon to collaborate to help excavate the deeper human experience hiding behind complex plots or determined messaging.
